今天是农历12月23日——小年，是*的传统节日之一。
晚上吃完晚饭后，我们开始辞灶。妈妈拿来两个干净的盘子，里面放满了辞灶用的供品。有杏仁、牛皮糖、水果等，每一样都非常精致。爸爸端来了一碗米、一碗水，拿来香，把香**米里。爸爸说，糖是给灶王爷吃的，吃了之后嘴会甜，就会在玉皇大帝那里多说我们家里的好事;米和水是为灶王爷的马准备的，好让马吃了有力气带灶王爷上天。我这才知道，准备这些东西都是有说法的。然后，爸爸拿来纸钱，烧掉之后，爸爸、妈妈轮流磕了头，妈妈还一边说着“上天言好事，回宅降吉祥”。我也学着妈妈的样子虔诚地磕了几个头，心里想着希望我们的愿望能够实现。
周围邻居家辞灶的鞭炮声噼噼啪啪地响个不停，非常热闹。我家没买鞭炮。爸爸提议：“我们放没有危险的烟花吧!”“好的。”我一边高兴地回答，一边拿出了爸爸从上海给我买得奇幻玩具灯。提前做好分工：爸爸点火，妈妈配音，我来照出各种各样的灯火图案。只听点火!嗤——，碰!美丽的烟花不停地变化着，有的像星星一样在闪烁，有的像小毛虫一样在蠕动，有的像美丽的彩带在飘舞，漂亮极了!我们又连续放了好多“烟花”，都那么壮观。
今年小年，我做了许多有趣的事，让我懂得了的我国的传统文化知识。

Yuan Longping (born September 7,1930) is a Chinese agricultural scientist and educator,known for developing the first hybrid rice varieties in the 1970s.His "hybrid rice" has since been grown in dozens of countries in Africa,America,and Asia —providing a robust food source in high famine risk areas.Mr.Yuan won the State Preeminent Science and Technology Award of China in 2000,the Wolf Prize in agriculture and the World Food Prize in 2004.
He is currently is DirectorGeneral of the China National Hybrid Rice R&D Center and has been appointed as Professor at Hunan Agricultural University,Changsha.He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering,foreign associate of the US National Academy of Sciences (2006) and the 2006 CPPCC.Mr.Yuan was born in Beijing,China.He loves playing Majong and the Erhu (Chinese violin),swimming and motorcycling.
